The International Women’s Biennial “BID21ART” is an event of contemporary art dedicated to women artists. Set in the wide spaces and austere charm of Magazzino 26 in the Old Port of Trieste, Italy. The theme of the 2021 edition was “Silent Transformations”, interpreted by the philosopher and sinologist Francois Jullien, who in his text Les transformations silencieuses highlights the phenomenon of the slow and imperceptible transformation of reality that takes place before our eyes.

BID21ART presented a group of artists chosen by the curator, Gabriela von Habsburg, and scientific committee (Pamela Berry, Karmen Corak, Luisa De Marinis, Barbara Luisi and Victoria Ogley) on the basis of their sensitivity to the chosen theme.

The catalog consists of 190 pages in full color, text in Italian and English. On the cover: Isabella Ducrot, Turbante

Artists include Isabella Ducrot, Catrin Bolt, Judith Goldschmid, Regina Hellwig-Schmid, Aidan Salakhova, Maria Papdimitriou, Sara Ciufetta, Giancarla Frare, Fariba Karimi, Carolina Rachel Antich, Olga Grubic, Debra Werblud, Rachel Libeskind, Sophie Westerlind, Virginia Ryan, Agnès Guillaume, Silvia Infranco, Sara Tirelli, Elena Nonnis, Cäcilia Brown, Hodo Tawakol, Anka Krasna, Cristiana de Marchi, Marina Ballo Charmet, Loreto Buttazzoni, Riccarda de Eccher, Luisa De Santi, Patrizia Delbello, Heide Hatry, Ivana Ivkovic, Paulina Jazvic . . . and more.
